Looking Out: A Photographic Journey Through The Gresham Outlook at the end of the 20th Century

What is Gresham to you?

Home of rural berry farmers? Simply a suburb of Portland? Diamond-in-the-rough economic development opportunity? Whatever it means to each individual, Gresham, its surrounding area, and its residents play many dynamic and crucial roles in East Multnomah County. Thanks to the historic archives of editions of the Outlook and a generous donation of photographic negatives from Outlook staff, GHS is able to explore Gresham's changing identity in the era of the new millennium.
