Museum Closure
Repairs from the fire are taking longer than we originally anticipated. We regretfully announce that all events we planned for September have been postponed until next year. This includes our program remembering our East County Japanese American neighbors who were sent to Minidoka internment camp and farm labor camps during WWII. Spring Plant Sale 2022
Mark your calendars! The Gresham Historical Society is hosting a plant sale on the day before Mother's Day in our parking lot at 4th and Main. This sale will include hanging baskets, flower pots, herbs, annuals, perennials, and house plants - all within easy walking distance of the Gresham Farmer's Market. Your purchases will support local history by helping us pay the bills, preserve historical materials, and present educational programming and exhibits.

Minidoka: 80 Years of Unspoken Memories Discover the experiences of East Multnomah County residents of Japanese ancestry during World War II, presented by local historian Gwenda McCall. Eighty years ago, eight hundred twenty-nine residents of East Multnomah County were rounded up and moved to Minidoka internment camp “for their own protection”. Two thirds were American citizens.
